As your professional school counselor, Hannan Academy's counseling program promotes and enhances student learning through academic, career, personal, and social development.
Other responsibilities as your counselor are:
Consultant- to help parents and teachers to be more effective in working with others.
Coordinator- serve as liaison between teachers, parents, school psychologists, social workers, nurses, support personnel, and community resources to facilitate student development.
Case Manager- provide the necessary monitoring of individual student's progress towards achieving success in academic, career, and personal/social areas.
Guidance is delivered through individual, small group, or classroom presentation.
